Though not an overly ostentatious or modernized building, the architecture of Cardinal Ritter High school illustrates much about the curriculum.  It has a more conservative feel to it, much like one may expect out of a Catholic high school. These plans highlight the new addition (the chapel and the fine arts wing.) As one can see from the pictures, the chapel is emphasized when one looks at the outside of the building, making clear that religion is one of the main parts of the curriculum.  Other than the chapel, most classrooms seem to take the same shape and level of importance.  All classrooms are located in one main hallway, distributed among three different floors, making the thin hallways the only chance for social interactions (therefore putting an even greater emphasis on education.) The most interesting part of the building to me is the highly reflective windows that envelop the fine arts wing.  These windows open up the building and give it a bit of modern flare, and would make me as a student feel less trapped and more free.
